for participation:
Participation is open to anyone who happens to be in the area and has the desire to participate AND it is also open as well to those who have heard about the project and are coming to participate.
Performing the work along with others is simple and
is therefore opens up the experience of performance to all and everyone regardless of musical ability. There is no music notation to read, just actions to be taken, when, where and if one will.

- Take your phone out and download the „GongPong.SAT“ application to your mobile phone using the link or QR given below. An assistant will help you if need be, ( Open Google Maps & Turn location permission on for the GongPong.SAT app.)
- Choose a gong, take gong beater and get read to play.
- Go to the center of the playing area and open the app and wait approximately 1 minute for the GPS satellites to synchronise. (
- Wander to any point in the performance area and join the group that is already playing.
- Watch the screen of your phone and hit the gong at its center with the beater when the light in the app flashes GREEN. Repeat ad lib.
- Pause, choose a different place to go to, and when you arrive hit the gong when the light is GREEN.
- Explore the space and listen to the different patterns that result through your participation.
- Keep on moving to different places and hitting the gong when the green light flashes.
- Continue as long as you would like, make pause when you want to,
or stop when you feel your participation is completed.
- When you are finished playing, just return the gong and the beater.
